Built in Nigeria  •  Running 24/7

We design and build the software your business runs on

LinkBulb Technology Limited is a Nigerian software company. We build Android and iOS apps, web platforms and custom business systems for companies across the country — and we stay on to run them after launch.

What we build

Software solutions, end to end

From the first sketch to the release that goes live and the support that keeps it there. You can hire us for the whole journey or for one part of it.

Mobile app development

Android and iOS applications built for the phones and networks people actually have here — mid-range devices, metered data, unreliable signal.

  • Native Android and cross-platform builds
  • Play Store and App Store release
  • Crash and performance monitoring

Web platforms & business systems

Customer-facing websites, admin consoles, dashboards and the internal tools that run an operation day to day.

  • Web applications and portals
  • Admin and reporting dashboards
  • Role-based access and audit trails

UI/UX design

Interface and product design grounded in what your users can actually do, not what looks impressive in a slide deck.

  • User flows and wireframes
  • Visual design and design systems
  • Clickable prototypes before we build

APIs & system integration

Connecting your product to the services it depends on — payment gateways, banks, telecom aggregators, logistics partners, existing databases.

  • Documented REST APIs
  • Third-party and legacy integration
  • Retry-safe, idempotent request handling

Cloud, hosting & DevOps

Deployment, environments, backups and monitoring set up so releases are routine rather than an event everyone dreads.

  • Staging and production environments
  • Automated deployment and backups
  • Uptime alerting before customers notice

Support & maintenance

Most agencies hand over a zip file and disappear. We stay on — several of the systems we have built are still ours to keep running.

  • Ongoing releases and fixes
  • Monitoring and incident response
  • A named contact who answers

What sets us apart

Built for how Nigeria actually connects

Plenty of software works beautifully on a fast connection and a new phone. The test that matters here is what happens on a mid-range Android, on a metered data plan, when the network drops halfway through. We design for that case first rather than treating it as an edge case.

Small and fast by default

Modest download sizes and low data use, because your users are paying for every megabyte.

Sensible when things fail

Dropped connections and timeouts are handled deliberately — retried, reversed, or explained — never left silent.

We stay after launch

We operate systems of our own, so we know what an unanswered outage costs. Support is a service, not an afterthought.

Where we work

Industries we know well

We describe client work without naming names — yours would be treated the same way. Everything below is in production today.

Fintech & payments

Wallets, top-ups and bill payments

Consumer and reseller platforms handling airtime, data, electricity tokens and cable renewals, with the wallet, ledger and reconciliation layers underneath them.

Android Web 5,000+ installs

Media & streaming

Consumer mobile applications

Audio streaming and lifestyle apps built to recover cleanly from dropped connections rather than failing silently — published, maintained and updated long after release.

White-label products

Your brand on proven software

Four independent businesses run their own brands, pricing and customers on systems we built and maintain. The fastest route to market when you would rather not build the plumbing yourself.

Who we build for

Four kinds of client

The work looks different depending on where you are starting from. Tell us which of these sounds like you and we will shape the engagement around it.

01

Founders with an idea

Nothing built yet. You need someone to turn a concept into a first version small enough to launch and learn from, without burning the whole budget.

02

Growing businesses

The spreadsheet stopped coping. You need a proper system for orders, customers or operations, built around how your team already works.

03

Established companies

You have software already. You need it extended, integrated with something else, or rescued from whoever built it first.

04

Agencies & partners

You have the client and the design; you need an engineering team to deliver it quietly under your name. We are comfortable staying invisible.

Technology

Boring tools, on purpose

We pick technology with long support lives and large hiring pools, so you are never trapped with a stack only we understand. If you inherit this code, you will be able to hire for it.

Our process

From concept to launch

Four stages, in this order. You always know which one you are in, what we owe you at the end of it, and what it costs.

Stage 01

Discovery & analysis

A paid week to understand the business behind the request — who your users are, what breaks today, and what finished actually looks like. You leave with a written scope and a fixed price, whether or not you build it with us.

Stage 02

Design & architecture

Screens and user flows you can click through before a line of production code is written, alongside the technical design — data model, integrations and the failure cases they bring with them.

Stage 03

Build & quality assurance

Two-week cycles against the agreed scope. You get a working build at the end of each one, on a staging environment you can use yourself. No demos that only run on our machines.

Stage 04

Launch & ongoing support

Store submission, production cutover, monitoring and alerts switched on. We watch the first week of live traffic with you, then either stay on a retainer or hand over the code and help your team take it.

Included as standard

Not billed as extras

Some agencies quote a low build price and charge separately for the things that make it usable. These are part of every project we take.

Testing & QA

Every release is tested before it reaches you, on real devices rather than only an emulator.

Documentation

Written setup, deployment and API notes, so the next developer is not starting from scratch.

Handover & training

A working session with your team covering how it runs, what breaks, and what to do about it.

Staging environment

A copy of the system you can test on freely, separate from anything your customers touch.

Post-launch warranty

Defects found in the first thirty days after launch are fixed at no charge. They are our mistakes.

Source code & access

Repositories, credentials and deployment access are yours on final payment. No lock-in.

Commercials

Three ways to work together

Every engagement starts with the same paid discovery week, so the price you are quoted comes from real understanding rather than a guess.

Model A

Fixed-price project

A defined scope, a fixed price and a delivery date. Best when you know what you want built and need certainty on cost.

Model B

White-label licence

Launch on software we already run, under your own brand. Lower upfront cost and a launch measured in weeks rather than months.

Model C

Monthly retainer

An ongoing block of engineering time for products that keep evolving. Best after launch, or when you need a team you can rely on.

Terms we hold ourselves to

What you get in writing

You own the code

Full source, repositories and deployment access transfer to you on final payment. No licence that expires, no hostage situation if you decide to move on.

Fixed scope, fixed price

The scope document sets the price before the build starts. If you change the scope we re-quote in writing first — you will never receive an invoice you did not agree to.

Someone picks up

A named contact, a phone number that works, and a reply within one business day. We run live platforms ourselves, so we know what an unanswered outage feels like.

The team

You talk to the people who build it

LinkBulb is a small engineering team in Nigeria. There is no account manager layer between you and the people writing the code — whoever scopes your project builds it, and answers the phone when something breaks.

We grow slowly on purpose. What makes the work reliable is a handful of people who hold the whole system in their heads, and that does not survive hiring in a hurry.

Read all the questions

It depends on scope, and we will not pretend otherwise. You get a fixed number in writing after the discovery week, before committing to a build. If budget is the constraint, say so early and we will tell you what is realistic within it.

A straightforward app is measured in weeks. Anything with third-party integrations is measured in months, and it is the integrations rather than the screens that set the timeline.

On a fixed-price project, yes. Full source, repositories and deployment access transfer to you on final payment. On a white-label licence you own your brand, customers and data, and the shared platform stays ours.

Yes. We often take one part — the mobile app, the API layer, the infrastructure — and work alongside an in-house team on the rest, with the boundary agreed in writing so nobody is guessing who owns what.

Whatever you choose. Take a support retainer and we monitor, patch and release for you; or take the code, the documentation and a handover session, and run it with your own team. We do not make leaving difficult.

Tell us what you need building

A rough idea is enough to start. We read every message ourselves and reply within one business day — including the ones where the honest answer is that we are not the right fit.

Tell us what you are trying to build

Send the shape of the idea. We will tell you honestly whether it is something we should build, and roughly what it costs.
